One of the challenges facing mature women is the discussion of sexual health. We’ve come a long way, but there are few forums for women to get advice about the changes they experience as they age, like vaginal dryness. According to a recent study published in the June 2013 Journal of Sexual Medicine, nearly 60 percent of the women surveyed said vaginal dryness and irritation had affected their enjoyment of sex, yet only 44 percent had discussed the problem with their healthcare provider.
The truth is that women have a lot to talk about. The more informed they are, the more positive the health outcomes.
